Georges-Pierre Seurat was a French post-impressionist artist best known for creating a painting technique known as pointillism. His character and work combined two things that were supposed to be incompatible: extreme sensibility and a passion for logical abstraction. This creativity and almost mathematical precision can be seen on works like Bathers at Asniミクres 窶・reprinted here on our 1461 3-eye shoe. Dr.Martens NZ
